A basketball court installation
A basketball court design inspired by WNBA fashion and sneaker design.
The installation questions where women and young girls can comfortably express themselves in basketball. Referencing the bold aesthetics of WNBA fashion and Nike Air Max sneakers, this court plays with texture, light and color to ultimately become a futuristic art installation.
The installation is multi-story so viewers can look up from the first floor to see the court as it’s made of a clear glass material that incases the inflated design.
